Home Support Service

Our trained Home Support workers will assist you in staying as independent as possible in your own home. Following an arranged assessment of your personal requests and any needs for support you may have, we will discuss with you, your requirements and preferences. Once agreed, we will allocate to you your own Home Support Worker. They will become your own regular Home Support Worker whose aim is to ‘make your day’ in ways that are meaningful to you.

Home Support Workers offer companionship, support with meals and meal preparation, help with spring cleaning, domestic chores, including laundry and ironing. They will assist you with shopping or may undertake shopping on your behalf. They can be available to assist with unpacking and putting away shopping deliveries, collect prescriptions and help you stay connected to friends and activities that are important to you.  

Your Home Support Worker also offers regular or by arrangement ‘pop in visits’ ensuring all is well, especially when loved ones are away on holiday. They can drive and escort you to appointments, trips out, special events, or leisure activities, or just ‘pop in’ to check on your wellbeing and any needs.
