Louise Marsh - Founder

  Louise trained as a nurse and specialised in gerontology and geriatrics in Australia.  Later Louise came to Britain and lived and worked in Scotland, working in both the private sector and the NHS. Following this Louise and her twin daughters moved to Lincolnshire where Louise studied Health and Social Care with the Open University, before joining the Social Services Older Peoples Team.  In May 2005 Louise, with a group of Churches Together Volunteers, founded The Evergreen Care Trust to serve the local community with the services that were not otherwise available to them. 

Ed Bailey - Volunteer Services Manager

Ed is our Volunteer Services Manager, he joined Evergreen in January 2023 and is responsible for overseeing all our volunteer services and supporting our wonderfully dedicated group of volunteers. Ed has extensive experience of recruiting and managing volunteers. In Ed's spare time he enjoys family activities, cycling, badminton, playing chess, following football and volunteering in his local community. 

Helen Wells - Care Supervisor

  

Helen joined the Care Services Team in 2024 as Care Supervisor, having moved from teaching Health and Social Care after a career working for 18 years in the Care sector in a variety of roles. 


Helen brings her management, care experience and qualifications to the role to support both our Staff and Members. Helen also enjoys spending time with her two young children and is an avid reader. 

Frances Coles - Finance Lead

Frances started at Evergreen in 2023 as the Finance Lead, responsible for all aspects of finance. She joined Evergreen after retiring from 30 years in the NHS, working as an accountant at hospitals in Leicester, Huntingdon, Peterborough and Kettering.


She lives in Stamford with her dog and has one grown up daughter.

Henriett Holczhauser – Social Engagement Lead

 

Henriett is our Social Engagement Lead. She joined Evergreen in January 2025 and is responsible for planning and running the sessions of our Friends Together Group, also keeping in contact with the wider community and the dedicated group of volunteers of FTG. Henriett is a qualified  Pre-school teacher from Hungary. She has 11 years of Health and Social Care experience in different positions in the U.K. 


In the recent past, she worked as a well-being and activity co-ordinator in a residential and care home. In Henriett 's spare time, she enjoys family activities, cycling, kayaking, dancing, and any type of arts and crafts activity. Also enjoy participating in choirs and instrumental music-related events. 

Imogen Joyce - Marketing & Events Lead

 Imogen is the creative force behind our marketing and events at Evergreen Care Trust. She collaborates closely with our marketing interns to deliver impactful campaigns that raise awareness and celebrate our mission. From intimate tea parties to large-scale fundraisers, Imogen brings warmth, flair, and precision to every event she plans.


With a rich background in graphic design, Imogen also works freelance as a community-focused artist and illustrator, using her talents to connect people through visual storytelling. Outside of work, she’s often found baking something delicious, exploring new places, or enjoying countryside walks with her three beloved dogs. 

Holly Deadman - Care Services Clerk

  In May 2024, Holly began working at Evergreen as a Home Support Worker. She then changed roles within the charity to the position of Care Services Clerk in our office. 


In addition to providing home assistance to our members when she is not in the office, she also handles communication with staff and members. Holly also collaborates with our Care Supervisor to assist with any duties related to home support that need to be completed. 


After completing her Level 3 in Health and Social Care whilst in college, and her Psychology with Criminology Degree, Holly is now looking to advance her administrative abilities with Evergreen. 

Helen Blewett – Befriending Lead

Helen joined Evergreen Care Trust in December 2024 and leads our voluntary Befriending Service with compassion and dedication. She oversees every aspect of the programme, ensuring our members feel supported, connected, and truly valued.

Before joining Evergreen, Helen spent many years working as a Teaching Assistant in primary schools, where she nurtured young minds and built strong community ties. Her caring nature and wealth of experience make her a perfect fit for her current role.

Outside of work, Helen enjoys travelling, swimming, and giving back through volunteering with other charities—always finding new ways to make a positive impact.

Ian Templeton – Friends of Evergreen Lead

 

After 30 years working in Media for Emap and 10 years as a self-employed Management Consultant, Ian retired to Stamford in 2023 and became Friends Lead in 2025.


Evergreen has significant dependence upon the continued generosity and support of around 100 Friends who donate on a regular basis, thereby allowing Evergreen to provide services and support which are supplied free-of-charge, but not free-of-cost.


Ian's role is to make sure our Friends contributions are warmly received, never taken for granted and to ensure our work supporting people with advocacy, social interaction and friendship, food, transportation, minor DIY, cleaning and decluttering, is celebrated and communicated to the Friends who have made it possible.


Prior to moving to Stamford Ian was a Charity Trustee and School Governor and continues to enjoy travelling, tennis and theatre, as well as raising Guide Dog puppies.

Louise Fuller – HR Lead

 

Joining Evergreen in 2025, Louise brings significant HR experience having worked across Travel and Tourism, Retail TV, Education and Manufacturing in a variety of HR roles.


Louise achieved a Distinction in her MSc in HR Management in 2011.

She lives in Rutland with her husband and three children, and enjoys nothing more than getting boots muddy outdoors with family.

Our Interns

Amelia Morris - Marketing Intern

Amelia is a student at Stamford College currently studying a T-level in Digital Design and development level 3. Currently she is completing her 315 hours of work placement here at The Evergreen Care Trust, and is thoroughly enjoying what she is doing. While here, Amelia has helped upkeep the website, create posters and accompanied with the marketing aspect of things.

Kacper Goluch - Data Analysis Intern

 Kacper is a student at Stamford College currently studying a T-level in Digital Design and development level 3. Currently he completing his 315 hours of work placement here at The Evergreen Care Trust, and is thoroughly enjoying what he is doing. While here, Kacper has helped with look through the data we have as well as helping research ideas for improving our systems. 

Connor Cavers - Marketing Intern

 Connor is a student at Stamford College currently studying a T-level in Digital Design and development level 3. Currently he completing his 315 hours of work placement here at The Evergreen Care Trust, and is thoroughly enjoying what he is doing. While here, Connor has helped with re-designing the website as well as designing posters for our upcoming events. He has also Volunteering with SHELS, helping with soup deliveries on a Friday morning.
