VOLUNTEER AT EVERGREEN
Help change lives in your local community
Why Volunteer with Evergreen?
At The Evergreen Care Trust we rely on a team of dedicated volunteers who help deliver services across the local community so that older members of our community are supported and cared for. Not only is volunteering a great way to help others, it's also a way of meeting new people, developing new skills and being a part of a warm and supportive community. Whether you can give a little time or a lot, we'd love to hear from you!

Fundraise for EVERGREEN
Help change lives in your local community
Why fundraise for Evergreen?
Fundraising for Evergreen helps us expand our services so we can reach even more older people who need companionship, practical support, and a trusted hand by their side. Every pound raised strengthens our ability to offer advocacy, home support, social opportunities, and community‑building projects that simply wouldn’t exist without local generosity. But fundraising doesn’t just benefit Evergreen — it’s incredibly rewarding for the individual too. Whether you host a bake sale, take on a challenge, or organise a community event, you’ll be making a real, tangible difference while connecting with others, building confidence, and becoming part of something that genuinely changes lives.

How do I host a fundraiser?
Creating a fundraiser for Evergreen is easier than you might think. Start by choosing an activity you enjoy — whether that’s baking, walking, crafting, hosting a coffee morning, or organising a small event with friends or colleagues. Set a date, pick a location, and decide how you’ll raise funds, such as donations, ticket sales, or selling items.
Once you’ve planned the basics, spread the word through social media, posters, or by inviting people directly. On the day, focus on having fun and sharing why Evergreen’s work matters. After your event, simply collect the donations and send them across — and take a moment to celebrate the difference you’ve made.

Receive support from evergreen
Evergreen is here to support you every step of the way with your fundraiser. Whether you’re planning a small activity or a larger community event, we can provide guidance, promotional materials, and practical tips to help you get started. We’ll share your fundraiser on our social media channels, offer advice on collecting donations, and make sure you feel confident and supported throughout the process. By working together, we can turn your idea into something truly meaningful for the older people we serve.

Upcoming Fundraisers
We’re excited to share some fantastic fundraisers coming up in 2026 — from personal challenges to heartfelt community efforts. Take a look and show your support for our incredible fundraising hero's.

Nick's Spine Sprint South
"On June 13th, I’ll be taking on the Spine Sprint South ultramarathon — a 46‑mile race along some of the toughest stretches of the Pennine Way. It’s a challenge that tests every part of you: strength, stamina, resilience and determination. I wanted this effort to mean something beyond the miles, which is why I’m running in support of Evergreen Care Trust, a charity making a profound difference to older people across Stamford, Bourne, the Deepings and the surrounding villages."

Robin's 81 miles for 81 years
"Upon reaching my 81st birthday this month, I was reminded by a friend that we are arriving at the stage in our lives, when we may need the support of others. No matter how independent you have been,, there is an increasing probability that one may need help. I have been a volunteer with Evergreen and this made me aware of how often help has to come from outside the circle of friends and family."

Roland's greening evergreen ride
"Having developed a chronic condition in 2017 I have been only too aware of the importance of the NHS and social care, and the informal, charitable services that fill in the gaps in that care. I am aiming to cycle round the Stamford area covering 200 miles over 7 days.
Please support me as I raise funds for a charity that does so much to alleviate social isolation."
