Our trained and DBS-checked advocacy volunteers are dedicated and experienced individuals who come from many different backgrounds. They offer a wealth of knowledge, expertise, skills and, above all else, a kind and helping hand.
Advocacy means helping you deal with troubling problems, thereby relieving any stress or anxiety you might experience when circumstances prevent you from managing life confidently. Our aim is to help you help yourself and we will work with you, involving you in any decisions that need to be made.
If we identify a need with which we cannot help, we will discuss this with you and wherever possible support you in accessing other organisations who may be able to help you.
